Murray Hotel Hong Kong- Afternoon tea review 2018

Today I had a free day and went to the Murray Hotel in Admiralty for afternoon tea. It was a nice chance to get out of the house and catch up with my girlfriends.

The Murray Hotel is located near cotton tree drive. It was my first time to visit and I had previously mistaken it for an office building before when walking past it. The interior was modern and minimalist and featured marble walls which I found to look so elegant.

We ordered the afternoon tea set priced at 295 HKD for a set for two. We ordered two of these. The set included sweet and and savoury options. The staff were also able to provide a vegetarian option for me which was wonderful!

We had a view of the road and I enjoyed watching travellers make their way to the peak and enjoyed seeing the sky change from blue to a sumptuous purply grey.

The tea itself was small although just enough. I recommend having a light lunch before. My pals commented that the pictures made the portions look bigger but I guess that’s good marketing!

Thanks for reading!
