Vegan eats in Cambridge.

Last week I visited a buddy, and we went on a vegan foodie tour of Cambridge. First for lunch was Stem & Glory, a vegan cafe near Jesus Green.

We both order the large buffet for around eight pounds. You can choose from a large selection of food, all vegan friendly. After we had coffee and vegan cake. My buddy had the carrot cake and I had the banana bread. Yum!

We walked around the gorgeous buildings (see my Cambridge travel diaries).

Next we met a buddy for dinner at Novi. Not actually an entirely vegan restaurant although they do have vegan and vegetarian options! I had the vegetarian burger ( vegan version is mayo free!) With polenta chips. They have a wonderful selection of cocktails!

The next day we visited Grantchester Tea Gardens in Grantchester village. A famous haunt of Virginia Woolf, the garden has lovely deck chairs where you can sit and have a cup of tea. Luckily the tea room had a few vegan and gluten-free cakes. We had the Walnut and coffee cake with Earl Grey tea. Delicious!

We found that many places in Cambridge did have vegan choices which was nice. However, there were not so many solely Vegan restaurants or cafes.

So if you are travelling around there and have special dietary requirements, I hope you found this post useful.

Thanks for reading!
